Role Overview:

As a Crew Member at JJ Builders, you will play a vital role in bringing our construction projects to life.

This hands-on position involves working collaboratively with your team to execute various tasks on-site, contributing to the successful completion of projects with precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Construction Tasks: Assist with various construction activities, including but not limited to framing, roofing, siding, interior finishing, and general labor tasks as assigned by the Crew Leader/Foreman.

2. Material Handling: Safely handle and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the worksite. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.

3. Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites for work by clearing debris, digging trenches, setting up scaffolding, and other preparatory tasks as needed.

4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other crew members, subcontractors, and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Communicate openly and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on-site. Follow instructions from supervisors regarding the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.

6. Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail in all tasks. Take pride in delivering quality results that meet or exceed company and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork and safety.
